Manual High’s Talented Young Artists at Cressman

Louisville, Kentucky, Manual High school’s talented young artists visited the Frederick Douglass exhibit at the Cressman Art Gallery today. They came in three groups of 25 – 30 students and each received a gallery lecture. First the sophomore class along with talented artist and teacher Julie Talent arrived. Ms. Tallent was a fellow classmate during our undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville.  Next the junior class  with Ms. Young and finally the seniors with Mr. DeWeese also a University of Louisville graduate received gallery talks.   Interesting side note  Mr. DeWeese, like myself had Cory Nuemayer as a teacher many years ago in high school.  Each group received a 45min gallery talk.  They had great questions !  Check out some of the photos.
