Scott Christianson fell asleep in Death

Sadly,Scott Christianson, writer & historian, fell asleep in death, Sunday, May 14, 2017.  He was an intregal key to unlocking the door of understanding the dynamics behind  the story of Charles Nalle.  He introduced us to Nalle descendents and opened doors to research tools that could not have been so readily accessed without him.

Christianson lived well over a century after the account of Charles Nalle, which occured April, 1860. Yet when Christianson retold the account of Nalle, he brought the events to such life that it was as if he was an eyewitness of the rescue effort that occured in Troy New York and he brought all his listeners into the scene with him.

He was an invaluable help as we followed the route Charles Nalle and Tubman took in upstate New York.  Our research would not have been as successful without his prompt and thorough input.  His zeal for attaining knowledge, his warm hospitality and his desire to share and help others attain knowlege will never be forgotten!!
